Short Term 12 wins best short at SunDance… Congrats Destin!!!

A few months back I wrote a little blurb about Destin Daniel Cretton, a remarkable filmmaker and friend originally hailing from the island of Maui. He’s been making films since he was a little kid and as a fellow Nazbo (graduate of PLNU) I’ve been treated to a boundless expanse of intrigue while viewing each of his shorts. I’ve always known he was destined for great things, so when I heard his last film, “Short Term 12″ won best short film at Sundance Film Festival last week, all I could say is its about damn time!!! I seriously shed a tear when I watched him take the stage in this video check it out. And seriously tell your friends…

Greetings from the ASR Convention in San Diego.

The first day of the ASR Convention in San Diego kicked off this morning. We were anticipating a fairly slow show, but I really haven’t had the chance to sit and relax until now. Even though the show doesn’t start until 9am, Katie, Luke decided to put on our overachiever hats and show up at 6 am… well, there was a catch. KUSI contacted us because they were doing a story on the show and wanted to ask us a few questions about Jedidiah.

Last night we had the blessing of seeing all our efforts for “Hacer” begin to materialize. The Jedidiah Crew linked up with the Sezians for a quick assessment of the layout of the Luce Loft. The Luce Loft is beautiful… can’t wait for tonight!

Tocayo stopped by to install some of his art.
