Thanks to all who participated in this month’s MySpace contest! We had a huge turnout of people posting the Jedidiah video on their page, and we want to say thanks for spreading the word. This month’s winner is James Garcia and he’ll be receiving a little bundle of happiness in the mail from us soon! Check back for more death defying MySpace and Facebook contests each month, and keep spreading the word for the new community by posting the video below! Thanks for everyone’s support – we couldn’t do it without you!
Every morning this past week, when we peeled our eyelids open and mustered up the strength to make the trek to our booth at S.L.A.T.E. in the Las Vegas Convention Center, we were greeted at our booth with a daily write-up presented by Antenna Magazine. The only thing more satisfying than my morning cup of coffee has been opening the pages of this little pamphlet and seeing the love they’ve been showing us. Check it out…
On the first day they featured our “Private” Hoody… In Fall 2008 we offered this piece in a military green color and it was our absolute top seller. We decided to bring it back for a second round and this time its also offered in black.

The Second morning featured a brief writeup on Jedidiah, and the mission behind our brand. Check out the stellar photo of the father/daughter duo that makes all this possible.

Invisible Children, one of Jedidiah’s Hope Collection partners, will premiere their most groundbreaking documentary yet called, ‘The Rescue: of Joseph Kony’s Child Soldiers’ at Cinespace in Los Angeles, CA on February 20th. The premiere will begin at 7:30pm including a discussion with the filmmakers, followed by an after-party at 9pm. Tickets are sold for $10 before 9pm and $20 after 9pm. This 21+ event is hosted by Philanthro Productions, a non-profit promotions company that organizes events for various organizations to redefine how social activism is practiced.
This is Invisible Children’s newest piece of media and will highlight the current crisis in central east Africa and the urgency for international attention, specifically for the rescue of child soldiers from rebel army leader Joseph Kony. The premiere follows the launch of their international tour on Feb. 15th, where the media will be shown in nine countries, rallying the international community through their April 25th World Event to seek justice for one of the most neglected humanitarian emergencies.
The Lord’s Resistance Army (LRA) continues to terrorize civilians and abduct children into their ranks, leaving nearly two million people displaced due to the 23 year long conflict. LRA activity has spread towards the Congo and southern Sudan, resulting in almost 400 civilian casualties. After several failed peace talks, military forces from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Uganda and southern Sudan have retaliated in recent weeks, prompting major international attention.
This is an exclusive opportunity to watch a powerful film that will bring the story of Joseph Kony’s child soldiers to the world and to be a part of ending the longest-running war in Africa.
