Jedidiah Clothing and Sezio teamed up last month to put on HACER-an event centered around creativity and community. Hosted at the Luce Loft in downtown San Diego, HACER highlighted the style, tastes and flare of our neighboring country, Mexico. Tacos, Pinatas, Cervezas and Live Screen Printing were accompanied by tijuana-based DJ Lady D. Here is a sample-recap video of what went down that Thursday night…
Cuban-born, North County Artist, TOCAYO showed recent work and lent his mexicana illustration style to t-shirt screens which were busy all night long. Proceeds from this event benefited the Gabriel House of Mexico.

The industry’s brightest young artists from Jedidiah and The Glue Network will be teaming up to create a 8’ x 24’ mural during the 2009 MAGIC Tradeshow in Las Vegas, NV. This mural will be painted live February 17-19 in the s.l.a.t.e. section at booth 20745 adjacent to Jedidiah Clothing.
The mural with be a fusion of styles all centered on the fundamental idea of HOPE. At the end of the three days, this one-of-a-kind piece of art will be auctioned live with a starting bid of $10,000. Proceeds from the event will go to support Stand Up for Kids, a nationally acclaimed organization committed to the rescue of homeless and at-risk youth.
The artists participating in this event are Blaine Fontana, Joshua Clay, Tommii Lim, Kelli Murray, Serge Gay, and j.shea. Each artist’s style and talent is sure to weave together a moving piece grounded in purpose and prompting people to give back to the world at large.
These themes of hope and giving back have been core components of the long-standing partnership with The Glue Network and Jedidiah Clothing. Along with a vast pool of talented artists, we have been able to come together to support numerous non-profit organizations through artistic and community involvement.
We at Jedidiah, along with The Glue Network, work to inspire and empower individuals to make a difference in the world. With Stand Up for Kids as the highlighted non-profit for this project, the culmination of a three-day mural will serve as a tangible expression of how different people can bring their strengths together to create a piece where the sum is bigger than its parts.
