f you’ve been in a Nordstrom recently, theres a pretty good chance you came across a table of Jedidiah tees in the front of the Rail section. For a little over a year, the Nordstrom stores primarily in California have been a huge supporter of our Hope Collection and Jedidiah’s overall mission. This past Saturday the Nordstrom at The Grove invited us to their store to help raise money for Invisible Children. We spent our Saturday afternoon hand-screenprinting t-shirts and chatting it up with the employees, and mall go-ers.

Everyone who purchased a t-shirt on saturday walked away with a unique piece of art that they played a role in creating. The coolest piece of this experience was that $5.00 from every purchase went to support Invisible Children. At the end of the day we sold 39 tees and had a great time. Swim 4 Life to benefit SurfAid International is your opportunity to turn a couple hours of effort into life-saving support for isolated regions of the world.

Teams and individuals register in advance and in the days and weeks before the event get sponsored by friends and family for a 30 minute swim at one of our four pool venues.

Prizes will be awarded to all participants based on their fundraising totals with special prizes going to our top fundraisers, top fundraising teams, and top swimmers. The person with the highest fundraising total wins a surf trip with World Surfaris USA to G-Land Joyo Surf Camp, Indonesia, one of the world’s most incredible surfing destinations!

LIVE AT LUCELOFT

A five night music series will be taking place the last week of March. Sezio’s downtown home away from home will be transformed into an intimate living room setting, playing host to 10 favorite bands and musicians.

We have paired acts with a slightly different sound and following in order to cross pollinate our city’s musicians and music lovers. Sezio is excited to announce the following line up:

100 tickets are being sold for each evening. They will be sold at Subtext: Gallery & Design Bookstore from March 5th through March 22nd. Subtext is located at 2479 Kettner Blvd. and is open Thursday – Sunday, 1-7pm. Tickets are $5, cash only.
