Beachworks Event in Portland

By the time you read this, I will have left the May Grey cloudcover of San Diego and landed amidst the inaugural days of perfect weather that defines Portland Oregon summers. If anyone is local, feel free to stop by and see me at Clackamas Town Center in the Beachworks store where I’ll be hanging out at the Jedidiah launch party, Thursday May 28th. We’ll be rocking out to live music by Annie Bethancourt (as much as one can rock out to such a talented singer-song writer playing her acoustic guitar) and giving away Jedidiah clothing. Free stuff you say? That’s right, if you stop by, this could be your lucky day. We’ll be there from 7-9pm and would love if you stop by and say hello!

Hope Collection Numbers

We wouldn’t be able to do what we do without the support of our loyal fans, and that means donating a good percentage of our sales to each of our non-profit partners. In the first quarter of 2009, Jedidiah was able to contribute over $16,000, making the total amount raised for the Hope Collection $253,703 as of March 31st.

We can’t say thank you enough for continuing to buy the brand, which in turn allows us to give back to those who are creating change all over the world. Jedidiah has committed to giving back 1% of all sales through our 1% for Humanity commitment, in addition to our specific Hope Collection and Community Project Series Tees, where up to 40% goes directly back to the organizations.
