2009 :: most hearted tunes

music mix 09

[From Erin, our Florida rep. Check out her blog here.]

Last couple weeks of the year…it has me summing up some of my favorite things from 2009. I like to make lists so maybe I’ll get to stick a few more of them up here before the year end (although don’t hold your breath, looking at my sad blog-upkeep this year).

For my first list, its my “Hearted Tunes of 09″. There were no rules for this list, and some of these didn’t necessarily come out in 09, but I listened to them a lot this year so it counts. They all got lots of air time, ♥s on my last.fm, unashamed car singing, plenty of dancing, and distinctive memories from the year.

A pretty varied mix. It should make you smile for 58+minutes. Here we go:

From the Street Team

Posted on Wednesday at 2:38

We’re always so excited to hear from different people all over the world making a difference under the banner of Jedidiah Clothing. The following is an example of one of our Street Team members going the extra mile within their own community. E-mail us with your stories and let us know how you’re spreading the love in your neck of the woods. And if you haven’t yet drank the Kool-Aid and want to join the Jedidiah Street Team, e-mail your name, age, and location to: streetteam [at] jedidiahusa [dot] com. Big things coming in 2010.

Stephen Heckman, a senior at Phoenix High School in Kennewick, WA, recently told us about some Jedidiah PR he created through his school. Steph was able to not only generate some buzz around what Jedidiah is doing, but through his creative presentation of the brand to his peers and community, he opened doors for purchases that supported Jedidiah’s humanitarian partners. Steph was also able to create connections that would lead to taking part in a book that would feature his work in a publication on project based learning. Great job Steph!
