Donations for Gabriel House

In case you haven’t been keeping up, sign up for our RSS feed IMMEDIATELY! And then pass on to all your friends that this Friday, Jedidiah will be celebrating the grand opening of our first storefront with the 2009 Holiday Bash, complete with giveaways, a movie premiere, live music, ugly Christmas sweaters, and fatty treats.
More important, please remember that we will be collecting donations for Gabriel House, one of our humanitarian partners, working to provide care for children with profound disabilities. The Jedidiah crew will be traveling to Mexico this Sunday to deliver the donations in person. Here’s what you can bring:

Large piece wooden puzzles
Wooden building blocks with a rubber made container.
Large Lego’s
Rubber baby dolls without vinyl hair. (Some kids eat the hair).
Digital watches for the older boys and girls who know how to tell time – 99 cent ones are fine
Hair ties and barrettes
Matchbox cars
Games: Jenga, Uno, Pigs
Theme toy sets like the Fisher Price Farm or Noah’s Ark to be shared
Bean bag chairs, a wonderful alternative seating for wheelchair bound kids

WANTED: Florida Street Team Members!!!

Have you wanted to get involved with Jedidiah but didn’t know how?

Do you want to be a part of spreading the word about the brand and helping us give HOPE?

Now’s your chance! We’re currently looking to expand our Florida Street Team because of some fun upcoming events. Here are some of the specifics:

WHO (we are looking for): Doers. Students. Fans. Non-students. Givers. Workers. Lovers. Thinkers.

WHAT (we will need from you): Enthusiasm. Connections. Willingness. Excitement.

•We’ll send out specific assignments periodically. Some might entail passing out flyers, posting info around your area or online community, talking to local shops or venues, helping out at events, and having lots of fun!

WHAT (you will get from us): Street Team assignments. Rad clothes. Cool posters. Gold star sticker.

• For being an awesome ambassador you’ll get hooked up with some Jedidiah gear that you can rock. We’ll provide promotional materials for events that you can distribute, and fun times with the Jedi crew at events.

WHEN (you will be needed): Twenty. Four. Seven. Maybe not, but you will be a Jedidiah ambassador at all times.

• It depends on the events we have going on in your area. You can choose to do more as well – there are always ways to help. But likely there will be seasonal specific activities to carry out.

WHERE (we need ambassadors): Everywhere. Worldwide. Small towns. Big Cities. Beaches. Mountains. Islands.

• We’re always taking applications for more Street Team members at all times, and hope to expand the Jedidiah Campus Ambassador program in the coming year. Right now though, we really need several more FLORIDA peeps.

HOW (can you get involved): Stop what you’re doing. Right now. And write us.

Photobooth Extravaganza

We’ve been lucky enough once again to snag photographer, Jason Ward, to do some photobooth action for the party this Friday. Make sure you stop by and get your best Christmas attire forever immortalized in the Jedidiah Hall O’ Fame (or at least until the internet goes out of style).

Also, Russell, seen skillfully holding his video camera below, will give you the chance to record some some words to the kids in the Bangladesh Surf Club. Here’s your chance to spread some Christmas cheer to our friends 8,000 miles away!
