Recently, we reached the mark of our Japan Collection raising over $46,300 for World Vision’s Japan efforts. The results exceed our expectations and we thank everyone who has participated.

Equally exciting, we received this picture from Megumi, a girl living in Japan. She is a friend of one of our retailers and he sent it as a present. She said, “Thanks so much. I love it. Big hugs from Japan to you and your family!” We love seeing her wearing the Jedidiah Japan shirt and her smile gives us hope that Japan is recovering.

7th Annual Switchfoot BRO-AM

The Switchfoot Bro-Am returns to Moonlight Beach in Encinitas on June 18th! The event is free and features a concert, surf contest, beach vendors, and after-party. The Bro-Am was created to give back to the San Diego community and benefit the local chapters of StandUp for Kids. a non-profit whose mission is to improve the lives of homeless teenagers and at risk youth. StandUp for Kids is our 2011 Fall/Holiday partner and Switchfoot is a Jedidiah-endorsed band so we are especially passionate about this event. We will be in the Jedidiah tent all Saturday and at the after-party that night. The past years have been amazing and we know this year will be too!

Event details:

THURSDAY, June 16th: Switchfoot Bro-Am Kickoff & Auction Night Soiree (Location TBA)

SATURDAY, June 16th DAY: 7th Annual Switchfoot Bro-Am featuring a surf contest, concert, beach vendors and more (Moonlight Beach in Encinitas, CA)

SATURDAY, June 16th NIGHT: Switchfoot Bro-Am After-Party At the Belly Up Hosted by Switchfoot (Doors open at 8pm/show at 9pm) Tickets will be available at www.bellyup.com and 858-481-8140
