Philadelphia’s Good Old War has been preparing for the release of their 3^rd album “Black As Rain” due out in March 2012. Good Old War’s charming folk sound with three part harmonies has been catching the attention of listeners worldwide. They just released a new single titled “Calling Me Names” this past week. Fun

Fun is a New York based indie pop act.  Singer Nate Ruess formed the band in 2008 after his former band, The Format, dissolved.  After a successful first album, Fun is releasing their new album “Some Nights” early next year. Fun was also recently featured on GLEE when the cast covered their song “We are Young.” Check out their new song “One Foot” here.

Brooklyn based noise pop duo Sleigh Bells, just announced the release of their second full-length album “Reign of Terror.”  After their critically acclaimed debut album “Treats” was released, they toured worldwide playing at popular festivals like Coachella and the Pitchfork music festival. Be on the lookout for their newest album to be released early next year. For now check out the music video for their past single “Infinity Guitars.”

Anthony Green

When Anthony Green isn’t touring worldwide with his band Circa Survive, he is working on his solo project. Anthony Green’s new album “Beautiful Things” is set to be released on January 17, 2012.  With the release of the album, Green is also embarking on a tour with the band Dear Hunter in support. Josh Garrels self-recorded his first three albums before starting Small Voice Records where he released his fourth and fifth studio albums; Jacaranda and Lost Animals. This year he released an 18 song album entitled “Love & War & The Sea In Between.” He has been giving the entire album away for free and will be doing so for one full year (until June 15th, 2012). Josh is donating any money the album raises and has already donated $8,000 to non-profits, missions and artists. He has been a big supporter of Jedidiah and we highly suggest that you check out his tunes.

Saves The Day

Saves The Day just released their 7^th album “Daybreak.”Front man Chris Conely describes “Daybreak” as the final chapter in a trilogy, which includes their previous two albums “Sound The Alarm” and “Under The Boards.” Saves The Day just finished a co-headlining tour with Bayside and singer Chris Conley just announced he will join the “Where’s The Band Tour?” along with Matt Pryor (The Get Up Kids), Anthony Raneri (Bayside), Dustin Kensrue (Thrice) and more.

Empires

Featuring ex- The Academy Is… member Tom Conrad, Empires formed in 2007 and were welcomed with almost immediate critical praise. Priding themselves in their DIY ethic, Empires records and produces all of their music themselves.  In 2010, Empires released their EP “Band” and have been hard at work for an early 2012 release titled “Garage Hymns.” Check out their music video for their title track “Bang” here.  You guys can also head to www.1band1brand.com to download a sampler of their music and save some money on Jedidiah Gear!

Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds

Formed in 2010, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds became the solo outfit for former Oasis lead guitarist/main songwriter Noel Gallagher. After the break up of Oasis, Noel took time to carefully construct his self-titled debut album, which was released this past month. The first single “If I had a Gun” has been getting major attention on several rock stations throughout the country. Check out the music video for their first single “If I Had a Gun” here. Florence + The Machine

Known for her popular single, “The Dog Days Are Over,” Florence + The Machine is back with her new album “Ceremonials.” Florence will be headlining night 1 of 91X’s Wrex The Halls on December 10^th. Take a listen to her new single “Shake It Out” here!

MuteMath

MuteMath released their new album “Odd Soul” earlier last month to rave reviews. The first time I saw Mutemath was back in ‘06 opening up for Circa Survive. I had never heard of them and by the end of their set I became a fan almost instantly. To those attending day 2 of 91X’s Wrex The Halls, I would get there early to watch MuteMath open up the show. Cage The Elephant

Along with Florence + The Machine, Cage The Elephant will be playing day 1 of 91x’s Wrex The Halls. You may have heard their new song “Shake Me Down” taking over the airwaves this past month. Fresh off a tour with Foo Fighters, Cage The Elephant has been continuing their success. Check out their music video for “Shake Me Down” here.

Neon Indian is an indie/electronic band from Denton, TX. In 2010, Rolling Stone named Neon Indian one of the hottest bands of the year. They are currently on their US headlining tour and have been gaining even more attention after an appearance on Jimmy Fallon earlier this year. Roy English

Rising from the ashes of Eye Alaska, comes Roy English. This new project from singer/songwriter Brandon Wronski was just announced this past week. Check out a teaser music video that was released, titled “Western Woods Freestyle.”

The Naked and Famous is an indie rock band from Auckland, New Zealand. After garnering nation wide success in their home country, The Naked and Famous have recently been taking over radio stations in the United States with their hit single “Young Blood.” This week we will be giving away tickets to their show October 16^th at The Belly Up in Solona Beach, CA! Thrice

Thrice just released their new album “Major/Minor” on September 16^th through Vagrant Records. Since their formation, Thrice has experimented with their sound. With many of their earlier recordings being categorized as heavy rock, Major/Minor takes a much different approach experimenting with some of their indie rock influences.
