-Secondly, our friend Kenny put together a band that is playing one time and one time only this Friday at the Tin Can Ale House. The show will feature Traffique (Kenny’s band), Knorphus and Sezio. Doors will open at 9pm, with Knorphus Zortorch kicking off the evening at 10. Cover will be $5. For information, see the flyer.

-Our friends in Ivoryline have launched a karaoke contest that runs between now and July 31st. Fans submit a karaoke version of the new song “The Healing” and are entered to win a Squier by Fender Vintage Modified Telecaster Custom Guitar, signed copy of Vessels, an Ivoryline tank top and an Ivoryline mug. You can check out the details here and see the instrumental version in the replies. Vessels is set to hit stores on July 27 via Tooth and Nail. You can also stream “Made From Dust” exclusively on the band’s AP.net Profile, and you’ll instantly become as excited for this one as we are.

We were so inspired by the sense of community that was captured in the music video that we felt the only appropriate way to give the tickets away would be to do so in the very setting the video was created…a dog park. We are sending our interns Veronica and Michael along with their dogs to a few local pooch parks around San Diego.

Veronica will be at Dog Beach in Ocean Beach with her dog Milie (below) from 6:30-7:00pm on Thursday evening.

Michael will be at Dog Beach in Solana Beach with his dog Sammy (below) from 5:30 – 6:00 pm on Thursday evening.

If you want these free tickets, all you have to do is track down the dogs, take a picture with them and let us know/upload the photo on Facebook that you’ve encountered them.

Last week, we ran a contest for our fans who are also fans of The Classic Crime to send in the most creative picture of them wearing The Classic Crime apparel or holding their new record “Vagabonds”.

We got a ton of great submissions, but our winners are Evan Dahl (pictured above) and Becky Levesque (pictured below).  Evan and Becky will each receive a Jedidiah t-shirt signed by the band and an additional Jedidiah tee of their choice.

Evan also sent in a few more submissions that are worthy of being posted on the blog that are featured below Becky’s picture.

We did not want to go this week without giving The Classic Crime a shout out on the blog, as this week is the release of their record “Vagabonds”.

The guys that came through are some of the most genuine people you will ever meet and we really enjoyed the time we spent with them.

Last night some of the Jedidiah crew got to see Ace Enders and his I Can Make A Mess Like Nobody’s Business act on the Copeland Farewell tour. We are so stoked to have Ace Enders as a part of the Jedidiah family (for more of our music family, check out www.myspace.com/jedidiahmusic).  He is such a quality guy with amazing lyrics and solid music.

It was a really incredible night.  Our own Michael Chen took some shots of the show.  Enjoy!
