MISSION: World Vision is a humanitarian organization dedicated to working with children, families and their communities worldwide to reach their full potential by tackling the causes of poverty and injustice. World Vision is present where human needs are greatest — and where hearts can be moved to help the poor.

HISTORY: World Vision was started by Bob Pierce in the 1950’s, to help children orphaned in the Korean War.  The organization has grown well beyond it’s child assistance roots by expanding to facilitating and transforming entire communities with water programs, health care education, agricultural and economic development, and Christian leadership activities.

TODAY: World Vision’s child sponsorhsip creates real, lasting change for children and communities.  Their dedicated and compassionate staff shows love to all people as they help build healthy communities for children in the world’s most poverty stricken places.  World Vision partners with children’s communities over time to address critical needs and helps communities become self – sustaining.  Through the sale of our Hope Collection Tees $23,636.70 has been contributed to World Vision.
