As we head into 2010 where we’ll be highlighting one cause per season, we’ve been doing a bit of traveling to get video, photography, and stories behind the projects we’ll be supporting with each of our clothing lines. Recently, on one of the hottest fall days in recent San Diego history, we drove just across the international border with Amor in order to glean inspiration for one of our upcoming lines.
Although only 20 miles south of our own homes, we encountered a world very different from our own, where poverty is rampant, and families are living in sub-standard housing. However, amidst the tough reality of what Tijuana life can often look like, we saw many amazing pictures of hope in the communities where Amor is working. Below is the beginning of our inspiration board for the clothing we’ll be designing for Summer ’10. Stay tuned for more Amor, but until then, here’s a little sneak peek:
