On Wednesday September 30th 2009 an Earthquake with the magnitude of 7.6 hit Southern Sumatra, Indonesia causing extreme devastation especially in the surrounding area Pandang. SurfAid International, one of Jedidiah’s Hope Collection partners, is extending incredible efforts in order to lend a helping hand to the towns and people affected by this tragedy.
As of Sunday October 11th Surf Aid has delivered roughly 932 tents, 800 construction kits, 300 hygiene packs, 400 floor mats, various food items and medicine.The task at hand is to revive and extend help to the thousands of people affected by the devastation.
