Saving My Life

I was riding on a jet boat on Lake Weir in Ocala, FL and it was 11:30 at night and we hit a dock.  I ripped off my right foot, compound fractured both my left and right legs in multiple places.  They reattached my right foot and left leg from the nee down.  My pelvis was crushed, my back was broke in 3 places, l2,l3,l4 and my left shoulder was shattered and pieces of the dock were sticking out my neck.  I had many different surgeries to save my left leg and right foot.  I was in a body cast and a wheel chair for a long time.  My good friend sitting next to me died on impact.  The driver of the boat hit with his head andwas charged with the first Boating Under the Influence Manslaughter charge in Marion County's history.  Two other people, my cousin Darlene D Andrea and Lee Ann Grime were also injured, and music was a huge part of my recovery, because I sat in my wheel chair healing and listened to a lot of music to help heal me.
