Rocky Green is a 34 year old surfer, musician, brother, and husband. During May of 2007 Rocky was diagnosed with Glioblastoma stage four brain cancer.

On June 1, 2007 Rocky had surgery to remove the tumor, but it grew back to the same size the following May of 2008. Shortly after his recovery from surgery, Rocky proposed to his now wife Jena Green. They were married August 3, 2008 on the beautiful island of Oahu.

The tumor is located on the left side of his brain and has affected his cognitive functions. Surgery was not an option so the family tried to find other alternatives. As of May, the doctors have given him six months or less, and as of August he was given less than three months to live.

Rocky and Jena recently moved to Texas to be with the rest of the Green family. Since October, Rocky’s health has rapidly digressed. He is currently unable to read, write or walk. He is in and out of normal comprehension but is still joyous and praising God. Rocky started chemotherapy towards the end of November and the doctors have stated that this is the last thing they are able to medically do for him.

Rocky and Jena just found out they’re expecting a baby. In September Jena said, “There truly is no room for fear, no time for worry, no reason to be in great sympathy… only a time to rejoice, a time to praise, a time for thanksgiving, for love, peace, rest, hope, faith, and God. God is greater than every man and woman, every medicine and remedy. He is our creator, our physician, our healer. He promises things, and never lies. His truth is His truth.” Please continue to pray for a MIRACLE, Rock’s HEALING, a healthy baby, Divine Appointments, REST for the whole family, UNSHAKABLE FAITH, and for the LORD’S GLORY to rain down.
