If you have seen anything we have done in the last week, you probably know that we were very excited to be part of this last weekend’s Switchfoot Bro-Am at Moonlight Beach in Encinitas.
The event is a day set aside for community in the form of music and surfing where all proceeds benefit Stand Up For Kids. There was a concert that featured Switchfoot, The Almost, OK Go and a surf contest featuring some of the best pros today (as well as an incredible Jedidiah team). At the event, we pitched a tent (with our new logo on it) and were able to talk to hundreds of people about Jedidiah and the purpose behind the company. It was a great time for us to connect with the community and reconnect with some of our friends from Stand Up For Kids who recently visited us. We also were able to raise some money for Stand Up For Kids by encouraging people to purchase a toss or two of the bean bag and if they made it through the hole, they were the lucky recipient of a Jedidiah hat.
For a great write-up on why Switchfoot does the Bro-Am, read this article by the band’s lead singer, Jon Foreman, here: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/jon-foreman/q-what-is-the-difference_b_621085.html
