Erin Lewis is our extremely talented Sales Rep for the Southeast Territory of the United States. I got to ask her some questions about her and I loved her answers and outlook on life.
Patrick: Where do you live? Erin: St. Augustine Beach, FL
How long involved with Jedidiah? Almost 2 years.
What is your function at Jedidiah? I’m the Sales Rep for the Southeast US territory.
What did you grow up wanting to be? For years I wanted to be a concert pianist, then I got more realistic and I only knew it needed to be something in the creative field, but I mainly just knew what I didn’t want to do…and since then I’ve just been figuring it out.
What do you do in your free time? Travel, yoga, hang at the beach, make amazing homemade pizza and enjoy with friends.
What about a typical weekend? If I’m in town, I usually wake up to some of the best coffee concoctions ever, made by my husband who’s a barista-pro. Beach is a must. And hardly a weekend goes by without our friends ending up at our house for a meal.
What are your goals for Jedidiah? I’d really like to see Jedidiah really solidify into it’s own identity and grow stronger as a recognized brand – not just for the clothing designs, but for the meaning behind it.
What are your personal goals for 2010? As far as work goes, I’d like to help get Jedidiah out in the Southeast more and more. Then non-work, I’m participating in a ashtanga yoga teacher certification course in Italy this fall and am really excited about it – it’s been something I’ve wanted to do for years.
What kind of music do you like? All kinds (doesn’t everyone say that?)…but some of the top artists on repeat recently are Ceo, Robyn, Washed Out and Jonsi.
Where is your favorites place to visit? Italy
What inspires you? Really just people who are constantly motivated, who laugh a lot, and who are super real.
What are a few things about you that people wouldn’t know about you? I have 2 pretty cool cats who both use the toilet. I just karaoked in Miami to “Low” by Flo-rida not knowing it was the fastest song on the planet. And when I was 8, I won $100 from the back of a LIFE cereal box.
What is one of the most defining experiences in your life? Why? The first time I left the country – and each time I travel I learn so many new things. Especially when I go on humanitarian trips (like the trip to Bangladesh, which was one of the most eye-opening experiences ever). I just think in general that travel is so important to me and in my blood because it’s a defining thing each time – in some way or another.
We’re lucky to have Erin on our team. Thanks for all your hard work!
